SOCIAL AFTERNOON.
Mrs. Todd Smith gave an enjoyable afternoon tea yesterday in the lounge of the Y.W.C.A. Hostel, when she enteri tained, the past presidents and past board members of the association. The room was attractively arranged with early spring blooms, and a glowing log fire added to the comfort and pleasure of the guests. Greetings were read by Mrs. T. Clark from Mrs. Smeeton, who is at present in England, and Mrs. J. Bradstreet related interesting reminiscences of the early work of the association, Enjoyable vocal numbers were rendered by Mrs. Kevin. On behalf of those present Mrs. Garrard, another past president, presented the hostess witlr a bouquet of fragrant Mrs. Pacey, of Wellington, a former president, nvas cne of the guests.'
