MARAMA FOR WELLINGTON. golden coast to sail. CITY OF DIEPPE DUE TO-MORROW. The Union Company's steamer Marama, which arrived from Sydney yesterday morning, leaves at eight o'clock to-night for Wellington. She sails from that port at 3 p.m. oil Friday for Sydney. The Golden Coast arrived yesterday afternoon with a cargo of lumber from Paciiic poits, also General cargo, motor cars and mail from ° San Pedro. Fine weather was experienced until nearing the Xew Zealand Coast, where hard southerly gales delayed her arrival by two days. She will'leave for Wellington this evening. The British steamer City of Dieppe, 7803 tons, to the agency of the Xew Zealand Shipping Company, will arrive from New York at 4 p.m. to-morrow and berth at the Queen's wharf.

Tuscan Star sailed for London at ten o'clock last night. She goes via Cape Horn, and is due at London on September 10. (8.5.L.)

Mariposa left Suva at 5 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, en route from San Francisco. She has 123 passengers landing here, 339 booked through, and will take 120 from Auckland. She is due at 7 a.m. on Friday and sails at 11 p.m. the same day for Sydney. (H. and !M.) Matakana, which was delayed by the weather at Wellington, will arrive from Gisborne early on Saturday and berth at the Queen's wharf. (A.S.P.) Lindenbank will complete discharge of her Auckland cargo from Texas and sail to-morrow evening for Xew Plymouth. (A.S.P.) Matua, the Union Company's new 41(i0-ton motor vessel for the Islands passenger and fruit trade, is due next Wednesday. (U.S.S. Co.) Rangitata, which arrived at Port Chalmers from London on July 30, left at 4 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. She will berth at Central wharf first thing on Friday morning. (X.Z.S. Co.) Kartigi arrived this afternoon from Portland and is expected to leave at 10 p.m. for the South. (U.S.S. Co.) • Kaikorai is expected from Newcastle and Sydney on Friday, and after discharge sails again for Newcastle. (U.S.S, Co.) Omana leaves Lyttelton to-day for Wellington and Auckland. Wanganella arrived at. Sydney at 0.25 a.m. to-day from Wellington. She leaves Sydney for Auckland next Monday and sails 011 Monday, 17th, on her return to Sydney. (H.P.)
