THIRTY-HOUR WEEK,
AUSTRALIAN LABOUR POLICY. (Received 10.30 a.in.) ADELAIDE, this day. A 30-liour working week was adopted as an objective of the Labour movement by the Federal Labour Conference. Jhe deletion of the former objective of a 40-hour week was recommended by the Industrial Committee of the conference.
Although the principle of the 30-hour week is now part of the platform, the conference does not regard this as ' -mediately feasible and has reaffirmed •> 40-liour week in, practice in resolutions asking the Australian Governments to introduce it.
