Bluebird Jottings
Dear Wendy.-— Once again you hear from tlie Bluebird Club, Grey Lynn. You will have received one parcel from us, as I left it at the "Star"' o/licc just a little over fi week ago. 1 hope it is keeping some wee boys or girls happy. We heard your appeal on Saturday and are now working harder than ever. Another quilt is finished and some babies clothes are coming' in to-morrow. We are also collecting for a hot v/ater bottle. I have elected a vice-captain for the club in the person of Nora O'Leary. I have some new members, too—Marjory Keoliane. June Barker, Ima Fleming and Xorcon Felton. Patches have been coming in at a terrific rate, and one big quilt is finished. There are quite a few patches over, so I am going to sew those into strips and send them in. I do love working for a cause like ours, don't you, Wendy ? Well, Wendy, I must close now, wishing you every success and a good response to your appeal. I remain, v-i Your sincere Budgetite, Lorna Todd (Captain).
