Each of the lines across must contain a complete five-letter WORD OBLONC NO. 3. word. As before, every letter has a certain value which is shown in the letter value chart. The objective, of course, is to secure words with the greatest value. In the down columns complete words are not necessary, but where they do occur they also score points just as for those across. Herein is ADDRESS found one of the points of great interest in this competition. Some may decide to work for a complete oblong, spelling ,words both across and AGE down; others may rely only upon high letter values in words across.
