FATAL COLLISION.
ACCIDENT IN DUNEDIN. DRIVER KILLED OUTRIGHT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN-, Friday. A fatal collision occurred on Kilmog Hill shortly after 2 o'clock this afternoon, when a five-seater motor car, driven by Mr. George Gloag, labourer, of Omarama, was involved in a collision with a motor lorry proceeding in the opposite direction, t-nd was hurled against a bank. Mr. Gloag was killed instantaneously. Mr. Gloag, who was 23 years of age and single, was travelling to Dunedin with two companions when the accident occurred. All three occupants were thrown out of the car, the driver receiving the full force of the impact. The two passengers escaped uninjured.
