DRAMA FESTIVAL
The Auckland area of the British Drama League will hold its fourth annuai festival in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall for four nights, commencing on Tuesday, August 11. During the four nights of the season 15 plays will be produced, the societies taking part being the "As You Like It" Club, Talbot Players, Playhouse Players, Sheridan Players. New Women's Club drama circle. Perian Players, John Court Players, Victoria League drama circle, Georgia Readers, Experimental Theatre, Grafton Shakespeare and Dramatic Club, and Auckland Guild of Players.
Miss Elizabeth Blake, in her capacity as critic, will give her usual helpful advice to the players and to the audience after each production. Indications point to a highly successful festival, as there is a keenness in all the clubs taking part.
