DAISY CHAIN CLUB.
A pleasant "local talent" afternoon was enjoyed, by members of the Daisy Chain Club, at its weekly meeting yesterday afternoon. A much appreciated musical programme was rendered by the following:—President, Mrs. Lord, secretary, Mrs. Barfoot, treasurer, Mrs. Duplantier; also items by Mesdames Ward and Burrows, Gough, Dye and Uoo-tr Wells and Whittaker, Christie, Horne and Hewett. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. Ruby atson, who gave a talk on "Forestry."
