Lady Wilson was the hostess at the morning tea held by tlie Auckland Travel Club yesterday. The speaker was Miss Averilda Gorrie, who gave an address on a tour of Europe.' Among the overseas and out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Townend (Leeds, England), Mrs. L. Boddam (London), Miss E. N., Sandes (Weymouth, Dorset), Mrs/ Wordsworth and Miss McLean (Sydney), Mrs. Jeffrey, Mrs. J. H. Waters, Mrs. Blease and Mrs. Cornelius (Wellington), Mrs. J. E. Hannah, Dr. Kathleen Abbott (Invercargill), Miss Betty Roe (Napier), Mrs. B. Daly (Hastings), Mrs. M. Holford (Christchurch).
