DUCHESS OF KENT.
Curtailment of Engagements In Summer. EXTRA POLICE GUARDS. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, July 17. The Duchess of Kent, states the "Daily Mail," will probably begin to curtail her public engagements in the late summer. She and the Duke will spend more time at The Coppins, their country home at Iver, Buckinghamshire, which was willed to them by the late Princess Victoria, sister of King George V., after her death last year. After yesterday's Wellington Arch episode the police have increased precautions.
