JUNIOR MANAGEMENT. At the meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland ltugby League, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, pleasure -was expressed that Mr. W. E. Kane, the Green Lane delegate, was making a good recovery after his recent severe accident. Dissatisfaction was expressed that no official notification had been received confirming acceptance of curtain-raisers asked for by the authorities. ' Payment of the transfer fee for P. Mahima from Waiuku to Manukau was recommended, but the application in respect of W. Murray was referred back to Waiuku. Other favourable recommendations were made on behalf of Point Chevalier for L. Bickerton, H-: Hadley and H. S. E. Turner to Mount Albert, Richmond and Newton Rangers respectively. Owing to a City sixth grade player being out of order, as reported by the weighingin squad, the match on Saturday... was awarded to Richmond. Club officials pleaded ignorance and apologised for the explained misapprehension. Point Chevalier and Ellerslie sevenths were deprived of championship points for plajang players out of order. A sixth grade player for striking an opponent was severely cautioned and another player, ordered off . for late tackling, was given ■ permission, to play on Saturday, but ordered to appear before the committee next week. Transfers. — P. Tong, D. Shackleton, MacFlavell and R. Brown,*.to Waiuku.
