AUSTRALIAN ORANGES.
SHIPMENT REACHES BLUFF. (By Telegraph.—Press ' Association.) INVERCARGILL, Thursday. The first shipment of South Australian oranges for this season reached Bluff by the Waitaki at midnight on Wednesday. Practically the whole of the Invereargill allotment was delivered into the wholesale stores and sorted ready for delivery by closing time to-day. The fruit appears to be in excellent condition and well up to the standard of prevous years for sweetness. The next shipment is expected in three weeks. It will probably again arrive to a bare market.
