MAY RETURN HOME.
CRAZY AMERICAN POLITICIAN. (Received 2.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 30. Somehow eluding the police, Mr. Marion Zioncheck, who escaped from a mental hospital yesterday where he was under observation owing to his mental state, reached Washington to-day and retired to his office. The police protected him from arrest under his immunity as a member of Congress. Later, officials of Congress reached an agreement with the police, allowing him to return to his home in Seattle. The charge of assault on Mr. Zioncheck's landlady and the contemplated action against him, therefore, will be dropped unless he returns to Washington.
