FAREWELL TEA.
VICTORIA LEAGUE. A morning tea was given by the Victoria League ever ready and sewing committees. in honour of Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, chairman, and Mrs. McLachlan, a member of both committees, who are both travelling abroad for the winter months. The league rooms looked very cosy with a log fire burning cheerily and the room decorated with big bowls of poinsettia. Bouquets were presented from the two committees. Miss Mowbray, president of the league, wished both travellers a happy journey. Mrs. Humfrey Gordon contributed two songs, and Mrs. Reg. Reed played two pianoforte solos, and also acted as accompanist. The hostesses were Mrs. L. g. Rickerby, Mrs. F. R. Charlton, Mrs. Angwin, Mrs. Lawford, Mrs. Jessop, Mrs. A. Stubbs and Miss Eve Keesing.
