ANNUAL BALL.

BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A feature of the decorations for the annual dance of the Bank of New Zealand staff, given in the Peter Pail Cabaret last evening, were the glistening letters, L.S.D.. which were hung over sections of the dance iloor, and the multi-coloured streamers and Oriental lamps artistically arranged all over the hall, and decorating the cubicles. In the supper room, shaded lights and tables gay with native foliage, golden Iceland poppies, and various colourful winter blooms were used with artistry, Mrs. George Walker being responsible for the beautifully designed supper tables. Mr. and Airs. W. G. Miller received the guests, the latter wearing a gown of black lace, floral shoulder corsage, and a white fur cape. Among those present were: Mrs. G. T.
