WEDDING BELLS.
MR. HARRY ATMORE, M.P. MARRIED LAST NIGHT. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Wedding bolls rang at liawera last night for Mr. Harry Atmore, M.P., of Nelson, and Miss Dorothy Corrigan, daughter of the late Mr. J. R. Corrigan, a former member of Parliament for Pa tea. The marriage united two names prominent in political Liberalism and the advocacy of monetary reform. Mr. Atmore has represented Nelson in Parliament since 1911, with the exception of the period between 1914 and 1922. In recent vear.s lie has been noted for liis enthusiasm in the cause of monetary reform, in which he was associated with Mr. Corrigan. He was Minister of Education in the United Government from 192S to 1931, and as such will be remembered for his report' on. education. Mrs. Atmore is a good platform speaker and a capable organiser. She lias given many institutions the benefit of her knowledge and experience, and took a prominent part in her father's election campaigns.
