AMENDMENT SOUGHT.
UNION MEMBERSHIP RULES. APPEAL AT CHRISTCT[UKC'H. (By Telegraph.-—Tress Association.) OHRfSTCHURCH, this day. An appeal against the decision of the Registrar of Industrial Unions in refusing to permit an amendment of the membership rules to allow all workers employed in laundries and dyeing and dry cleaning works to come under the Cliristclnirch Tailoring, Dressmaking and Other Clothing Trade Employees' Union was heard in the Arbitration Court this morning. The appeal was conducted by Mr. J. Roberts, secretary of the union, who said the case was no doubt important. and perhaps would Affect worker* in other parts of Xew Zealand, as well as those in Christcliurcli. Judgment was reserved.
