The Jibouti correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" states that Abyssinia is far from peaceful. The Italians are not attempting to penetrate seriously into the country beyond Addis Ababa with the exception of Gojjam. It is estimated that there are 12,000 Abvssinians tinder arms who may become most troublesome after the rains. Guerilla warfare continues outside Addis Ababa. Lorries have been held up and drivers killed, while thousands of bandits are roaming about looting and murdering. FOREIGN OFFICIALS. ITALIAN APPOINTMENTS. ROME, June 12. Signor Ottavio di Peppo will succeed Baron Aloisi as chief of the Foreign Ministry. Count Ciano, Signor Mussolini's son-in-law, may replace Baron Aloisi at Geneva if Italy remains in the League.
