DISMISSAL OF WORKERS.
Although Mr. Savage assured us no worker would be dismissed owing to the new pay., that is just what is happening evel i ,j in Auckland city. Young girls who s tinder the new rate lie getting a few ® 11! ' e a week more are told that their no longer required. These girls would sooner go on working for their present 1 ® than be out of work. And what are going to do? They will not be work anywhere else. E. JA±
