Sunbeams at "Star" Office.
SUNRAY AND HAPPY CLUBS' BUSY DAY.
Another busy morning was spent on Saturday last when nine members of the Sunray Club (Mount Albert) and four members of the Happy Club (Dominion Road) met at the "Star" Office spent a happy two hours midst our sunshine patches. Everyone voted our club rooms real sunshine rooms indeed. Certainly thirteen Sunbeams went off at 1 1.30 looking quite rosy and toasted with the heat.
I was enchanted with the Sunray Club's little badges pale blue circles of linen with gold initials "S.C." embroidered on them. This is quite an idea. Whose club will be next on the list to design a badge? The Sunray members are credited with 25 additional points nine for the members present, the remaining number being for the work done. Seventeen points to the Happy Club for their morning's work. The following Sunbeams were present at our working bee: j
