SOME SPLENDID GIFTS RECEIVED
In addition to the cot quilt which arrived some weeks ago from the Mataroa Company (not Mataora as previously published),' two further gifts from Auckland companies have arrived at the Peter Pan Office. First of all came a parcel of 60 patches from the AH Saints' Company (Ponsonby). Most of these were sewn" into a cot quilt which has since been lined and dispatched to a very needy family in the city. The next gift arrived from the Puriri Patrol of the Tahutamai Company, who sent us 77 patches and a most delightful quilt. Later on one dozen patches and a donation of 1/6 came to hand from the Guides' little sisters, the Brownies of St. John's pack. Then, too, there is that altogether mystifying matter of the "Mysterious Girl Guides," a club which registered at this office during the week. We are glad indeed to see guide companies choosing this special work for their big yearly good deed. We cannot too greatly stress the urgency whicj compe'-i us to send out a special S.O. !. fc- na*-hes and quilts.
