Top right is a hat of the picture variety, a russet velour. The colour is set off b\) a drooping ostrich plume dyed in various shades of russet brown and amber gold. Below left is a shallow-crowned Velour brimmed with pie-crust fluting. JJelow right is a felt which dips sharply in front, rolls up at the back and is trimmed with two startling red quills.
