Bruce's Sandy, 3; M. McNeil's Sharp, 34, 4. .Long Head.— i\ Mitai's Kod, 40 points, 1; F. Mead's Tyke, 38, 2; G. Mead's Tim, SO. 3 ; M. McNeil's Wait, 30. 4. Ziz-zag Huntaway.—M. Eruera's Broadway, 42 points, 1; G. S. Mead's Rowdy, 36, 2. D. Bruce and If. Tcmoana's eutrles tied tor third place with 30J points. Short Head and Yard.—F. Mead's Bean, 45 points, 1; G. Mead's Tim, 43*, 2; G. Butler's Lil, 43, 3; G. Zannellis' Ruff, 41*, 4. The following trophies were awarded :— G. S. Mead Cup, for champion huntaway, M. Eruera ; 11. O. Drake Cup, for best twodog team, M.'*Eruera; J. Williams and F. G. Powell's Cup, for champion dog, M. McNeil; Cup for champion heading dog, G. S. Mead; A. C. Hughes Cup, for maiden dog in head and yard, F. Mead; G. S. Mead's tankard, for'best three-dog team, M. McNeil; Ruakokore Women's Institute trophy, M. McNeil. CAPE RUNAWAY TROPHIES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. Following are the results of the sheep dog trials held at Kuakokore under the auspices of the Cape Runaway Club ;— ■ G. S. Mend Cup for champion huntaway.—M. Eruera's Broadway. 11. O: Drake Cup for best two-dog team.— M. Eruera's Broadway and Dark. J. Williams and E. G. Powell Cup, for champion dog.—M. McNeil's Scot. G. S. Mead Tankard for best three-dog team.—-M. McNeil's Scott, Sharp and Wait. Champion Heading Cup.—G. S. Mead's Tib (won outright). A. C. Hughes Cup, maiden dog in head and yard.—F. Mead's Bean. ltaukokore .Women's Institute Trophy maiden scoring most points.—H. McNeil.
