LANCASHIRE SOCIETY.

The Lancashire Society lield its fortnightly meeting in the New Women's Clult looms this week. Mr. Dodd presided over a large attendance and stated that owing to llu> increasing membership they had decided in future to hold their meetings in the Overseas League rooms. Mr. Dodd announced that there would be a "potato pie" evening in the future. Items were rendered by the following: Mrs. Thomasen, Mrs. Turner, Miss Green, Miss Wilson. Miss E. Crookshanks, Messrs.
