LANCASHIRE SOCIETY.
The Lancashire Society lield its fortnightly meeting in the New Women's Clult looms this week. Mr. Dodd presided over a large attendance and stated that owing to llu> increasing membership they had decided in future to hold their meetings in the Overseas League rooms. Mr. Dodd announced that there would be a "potato pie" evening in the future. Items were rendered by the following: Mrs. Thomasen, Mrs. Turner, Miss Green, Miss Wilson. Miss E. Crookshanks, Messrs. Mee and Lloyd. The accompanists were Mrs. Miller and Miss Taylor. Among those present were: Mesdames Dodd, Miller, Kershaw, Imeson, I-fenley, Bibby, Kendrick, Cocker (2), Mayail, White, Kay, Sims, Brassington, Valintine, Winton, Corfield, Hardman, Margison, Goodison, Pryne, Taylor, Gaiiglian, Still, Bovce, Parish, Walls, Scholicld, Greenwood, Eves, Matthew, Dawson, Corness, C. Taylor, Gates, McMilles, Woolley, Reading, Walker, Mills, Marshall, Simpson, Birch, Godsull, Davey, Grogan, Bentley (2), McKell, Turner, Wood, Williams, Goulden, Hill (2), Orrell, Hard wick, Eairhurst, Robinsoil, Ward Roberts, Green, Reardon, Mee, Crunch, Blomfield, Misses Miller, Dodd, D.
