CLEVEDON FUNCTION.
The Clevedon Golf Ball was a brilliant succcss. The Public Hallwas attractively decorated m the club colours and the proceedings were enlivened by Henley's Orchestra. were provided by Messrs. I. Roberts and A. Smith. The masters 0!> ceremonies'were Messrs. T. Currie and L. Waters. Autumn leaves and Iceland poppies were artistically arranged on the supper tables, these being the work of Mrs. D. M. Bryan wearing black georgette and lace, and Mrs. I. Roberts, green marocain and lace; Miss Waters, black taffeta; Miss McPherson, black georgette; and Miss Francis Burgoyne, floral taffeta. Among those present were: Mrs. li. Scott, wearing rose souple satin; Mrs. Hugh Pollock (Papakura), blue cire spot taffeta; Mrs. A. C. Atchison, white satin and lace; Mrs. Hanley (Auckland), black georgette; Mrs. J. Banks (One Tree Hill) black lace; Mrs. J. Commons (Green Lane), jubilee blue lame; Miss Ina Smith (Wellsford), blue angel skin; Miss Turei, Marina blue crepe de clnne; Miss M. Duder, flame Marina crepe; Miss F. Green (Papakura), black satin; Miss Elva Douglas (Auckland), blue corded silk; Miss V. Gunthorp (Papakura), white organdie; Miss Thelma Spragg (Ardmore), silver threaded blue satin; Miss Marie Gunthorp (Papakura), blue angel skin lace; Miss A. Winter (Ardmore), black georgette;Miss T. Currie (Auckland), pale blue organdie; Miss M. Currie, apricot sand crepe; Miss D. Luke, pink crinkle crepe; Miss R. Shaw, black georgette; Miss R. Smith, pale blue voile; Miss I.
