TITO SCHIPA'S OPERA.
, MILAN. A famous tenor took part in an opera composed by himself. He not only con. ducted the orchestra and sang, but he also danced a tango. He is Tito Schipa, well known to Covent Garden audiences in . London and to the Metropolitan Opera House, New York. He conducted the orchestra in the first performance of "The Princess Liana," a light opera composed by himself, at the Lirico Theatre here. The operetta was a great success.
