INCREASE IN WAGES.
At a meeting of the directors of Foodstuffs, Ltd., the co-operative wholesale house of the Auckland independent grocers, it was decided that despite the fact that higher than award rates had previously been , paid throughout, the firm would further co-operate with the Government regulations of restoring wage cuts by increasing wages to a point again greater than award rates as from June 13.
