HAMILTON FOOTBRIDGE.

HAMILTON, Friday.
The construction of the new footway alongside the Hamilton railway bridge has been completed. The structure is a great improvement on the old 4ft Gin wooden bridge which it replaced. Made of welded steel, the new bridge, was designed and fabricated by the Hamilton "Borough Council staff, and was placed in position by the Railway Department. It is 500 ft long and Oft wide, and was made in 34 sections.
