CANTON IS DETERMINED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) NANKING, June 11. The South China Government at Canton has rejected Marshal Chiang K.ai-shek's appeal to recall the southern forces "now marching towards Nanking, and await the decisions of the Central Executive Council on July 10. The British naval authorities have ordered the gunboats Cicada and Tarantula to proceed to Canton to ensure the safety of British nationals.
