The prices of all good quality fleece at the Adelaide wool sales to-day were from 5 to 7% per cent lower than the February levels, and inferior lots dropped 10 per cent. The lack of Japanese competition was not responsible fox* the fall of the bettei types, which at times enjoyed keen competition, but their absence was .noticeable in the sale of inferior lots, which Japan usually buys in large quantities.
