Injuries to the thigh and concussion were suffered by Mr. T. E. Griffiths, nged 59, of the Salvation Army Workmen's Home, when he was struck by the bumper of a motor ear at the corner of Queen Street and Victoria Street East yesterday afternoon. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is satisfactory".
