BRITAIN WILL NOT PAY.
WAR PAYMENT DUE JUNE 15 WASHINGTON, June 0. Tile British Ambassador, Sir Ronald Lindsay, formally notified the State Department yesterday that Britain wn not make her war debt payment due on June 15. Other war debtors, excepting Finland, are expected to take sinn action prior to the date named. The instalment owed by Britain is 55,070,700 dollars, making her tot.i arrears 688,000,000 dollars.
