SMALLER INTEREST.
CITY COUNCIL'S DEFAULT. (Received 9.30 a.m.) CALGARY, June 9. The Calgary City Council will go into technical default on June 15, and will offer bondholders 3 per cent instead of 5 per cent for the interest due on 100,000 dollars' worth of bonds on that date.
