ECONOMICS OF JAPAN. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 9. The financial adviser to the British Government, Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, in a lengthy conference with the Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr. Arita, urged 4.n"10-Japanese co-operation in a loan to benefit China, says the Tokyo correspondent of the "Daily Herald." Mr. Arita replied that Japan must discard reliance 011 Western Powers before co-operating in economic assistance.
