NATIONAL BANK STAFF.
PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Mr. W. L. Booth, accountant of the National Bank of New Zealand at Du.'iedin, has received notice of his appointment as manager of the Whangarei branch of the bank, in succession to Mr. M. B. Peat, who has been transferred to manage the Gisborne branch, which position was made vacant by the sudden death of Mr. A. B. West. Air. J. L. Barribally late accountant at the Christchurch branch, has ju;,t proceeded to a new post as manager at Pukekohe. Mr. H. W. Whyte, secretary to the genera] manager, Sir James Grose, will leave Wellington for London by the Remuera to-morrow. He will be attached to the head office of the National Bank of New Zealand in London.
