SWANSON INSTITUTE.
The Swarison Women's Institute held their monthly meeting recently, Mrs. Tnsley presiding over a large attendance. The gueets of the afternoon, Mesdames Colwill, Hunt.and Storey, judged the competition, the best afternoon frock, costing 5/, which was won by Mesdames Beaumont and Close. Mrs. Park gave a demonstration on Italian quilting. The tea and social hostesses were Mesdames Wrigley and Winter, who provided an enjoyable programme of songs by Master J. Winter, recitations by Mrs. Wrigley and piano solos by Mrs. Hyauiaeon.
