BISHOP OF MELANESIA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The Rt. Rev. W. H. Baddeley, Bishop of Melanesia, and Mrs. Baddeley were tendered a reception at a gathering held in St. Peter's Hall, Hamilton, yesterday afternoon. Dean Weatherhog presided. Bishop Baddeley described the work of the Melanesian Mission and stressed tha need for continued support "of the mission by the church people of New Zealand.
