Sparks from a copper fire set alight to the waslihouse adjoining the residence of Mr. W. Phillips, of Great North Road, Henderson, oil Saturday night. The occujoints were not aware of the danger until warned by passers-by. The sijiart work of the Henderson • fire brigade prevented the flames from spreading to the house, which was only a few feet distant.
