THEFT CHARGE.
DOMESTIC REMANDED.
Arrested by Detective T. W. Allsopp, a domestic, Lilian Stewart, aged 19, appeared in the Police Court to-day, charged with the theft on June 4 of a lady's handbag, containing £18, the property of Maud Catherine Anne Jeffs. On the application of Senior Detective Hall, Mr. P. K. Hunt, S.M., remanded the accused to appear on June 15, and ordered her to remain .in the Salvation Army Home in the meantime.
