THE TOWN HALL ORGAN.
Is the organ in the Town Hall a dummy one? I have been to 'meetings of all sorts there and never once heard it played. Why have it at all? Of all musical instruments, an organ appeals to me most, and 1 have heard many in my time—magnificent music in t' ,c Brompton Oratory, also in the Catholic Cathedral in Sydney and in St. Paul's, London, and many times I have crept into a wayside church to hear an organist practice. I have gone in "weary and ill at ease" and come out soothed and comforted. Yet in my old age 1 am not to hear the Town Hall organ. MUSIC.
