XOVELOCK WINS MILE. ULSTER POLICE SPORTS. . LONDON", June 7. At the Ulster Constabulary sports, at Belfast, J. E. Lovelock (New Zealand) won the mile in 4.24 4-5, in bad conditions. His preparation for the Olympiad hitherto has been held up owing to his medical studies. He has been placed third in two recent appearances in the mile. 13 AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club continued its winter competitions at the Outer Domain on Saturday in the presence of a good attendance of both athletes and public. S. Allen showed a welcome return to form of a few seasons ago by winning the 5000 yards steeplechase from the 3.35 mark. He won fairly easily. Following are the results:— 75 Yards Sprint—First beat: C.
