RIFLE SHOOTING.
PAPAKURA CLUB. A shoot over 200 and 300 yards for a cup, was held by the Papakura Rifle Club, the winner being A. Walker. Trophy winner's were:—A class: S. D. Rice. B class: J. H. Hughes; J. Andrew was runner-up,. Spoon trophy winners for season:—W. Richardson 4, A. Richardson 3, P. Burgess 2, S. Williams, F. Parker, S. D. Rice, J. Walker, A. Ellington, J. Hughes, Iv. E. Hutchison, S. Godden and S. A. Clark, one each. WHAKATANE CLUB. The Whakatane Defence Rifle Club liehl a troDli.v shoot on the' White Pine Bush range on Saturday, the conditions being 10 shots at 500 yds. Best scores: A. J. Oxenliam 46, J. Rand 43. G. L. Burnett 41. . T"
