METHUSELAH FAMILY.
LONDON, April 20. A family of 10 brothers and sisters have excellent claims to be called modern Metlmselahe. Their ages total Sl7 years 10 months. Mrs. H. Pink, of Crocker Hill, Fareham, wlio is S3 years and 6 months old, gave these details of the rest of the family: Mrs. C. Tite, of Great PlumStead, 1 Norfolk, 94 years 7 months; Mrs. C. Spinks, of London, 90 years 5 months; Mr. Francis Slater, of London, 87 years 5 months; Thirza Slater, of Cumberland, 85 years 5 months; Mary Slater, of Norfolk,- 79 years 3 months; Jamc3 Slater, of Norfolk, 77 years 6 months; Richard Slater, of Norfolk, 75 years _7 months; Robert Slater, of Norfolk, 73 years 3 months; and Mr. Evelyn Slater, of British Columbia, 70 years 11 months. Another brother, John Slater, died last year when he was 90. The family came from Horning, Norfolk, and the father was a blacksmith, who died at the age of 57. Mrs. Pink said that she attributed the advanced ages of the family to the fact that "In my home we baked our own bread, made our own butter, brewed our own beer, killed our own cattle fo l ' meat."
