ENGLISH CONDUCTOR.
CONCERTS IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. An eminent English musician and conductor, Dr. Malcolm Sargent, has agreed to conduct three concerts in Wei-linf-ton when he visits this city next August. A cablegram to this effect lias beeTi received bv Mr. W. E. Caldow, secretary of the Royal Wellington Choral Union. The concerts will take place in the Wellington Town Hail and will consist of one" symphony concert, one choral performance for which Mendelssohn 3 "Elijah" has been selected, and one miscellaneous concert.
