PLUNKET SOCIETY HOLDS DEBUTANTES' BALL.'—Tw 'nty-three Auckland girls last night made their debut at the Plunfyct Society's baU t when they were introduced to Mrs. W. H. Parises, honorary life member and patron of the society, and to the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis.
BOMBING OUTRAGE IN MEXICO.—The jumbled Wreckage 0' a train in which 40 passengers and 101 employees were killed when the bridge over which the train was passing was dynamited. The responsibility for the outrage was placed on General Plutarco Calles, former President of Mexico, by the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, and Calles Was exiled to the United Slates.
