SENIOR DIVISION GAMES. PONSONBY AND COMRADES. BLANDFORD PARK ATTRACTION. i One of the surprises of the second series last Saturday was the division of the points by Comrades with Mount Albeit Grammar Old Boys, and tomorrow Comrades make their debut for the season at Blandford. Park, when thev will oppose Ponsonby. Comrades have a young and virile team that is not altogether dependent on spoiling, kick-and--3 usli tactics, but has also developed a degree of combination and understanding. Ponsonby, too, are quickly "getting into their stride," and everything points to a close and keenly-contested encounter with the result far from a foregone conclusion. On reputation, Ponsonby should gain the points, but that is not always a safe basis for forecast, and Ponsonby have not always run true to form. At all events a good game should be the outcome. Shore United will be at home at Devonport to Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys, and this fixture should prove the fastest game of the-round. Both teams play the dashing style of football,, with not too much finesse, but there, is sure to be excitemcnt and action from start to finish. Shore at home are a formidable opposition for any side, and if Grammar come back with half the spoils of victory they will have reason for satisfaction. Thistle will meet Metro-College at Western Springs, and may have to play all the way for the points. Teams are:— THISTLE. First Divisions —A. Watson, Williams, "Reid, W.
