LEADING SIDES MEET. marist and ponsonby. MANUKAU AT EDEN PARK. The two leading teams in the Auckland Rugby Union's first division competition will meet at Eden Park to-morrow after- , noon, when Marist Old Boys tackle Ponsonby. Both sides have been well handled by the respective coaches, "Paddy Sheehan (former Otago Ranfurly Shield • skipper) and "Charlie" Lonergan (a leading Hawke's Bay referee up to 1931) who has returned to his native city. In the curtain-raiser Manukau will be making its first appearance at headquarters I this season, having tied (five all) with Grammar Schools' Old Boys a fortnight . ago at Onehunga, and drawing the bye last week.
