THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.
An enjoyable evening was spent by the above club at the Druids' Hall, Newton, recently. Mrs. J. Hubber, president, assisted by Mrs. Bowyer, vicepresident, received the guests. A dainty supper was served by Mrs. H. Stubbing, convener, assisted by the following committee members: Mesdames Davison, McPhersori, Wright, Tliorburn (treasurer), Nicholls, Miller (secretary), and Kathleen Rowlings and Marion MacLeod. Musical items were rendered by the following artists: Hineroa Stewart. Mr. Frazer, Mrs. Shaw, Lorna Skinner, Alwyth Dunn, Air. Foreshore. Accompaniments were played by Madame Dunn. Prizes were won by Mr. Smith, Mips Smith and Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Da'vi-j son, Mr. Frazer, Madame Dunn, Lorna Skinner, Mr. Mclntyre and Master Tlior-1 burn. 1
