HOSPITAL CONCERTS.
The patients of ward 1 at the hospital were entertained last evening by a concert party arranged by Mr. Jack McCarthy, who is a patient in the ward, when a programme of dance, instrumental, vocal duets and humorous items was thoroughly enjoyed. Uncle Jim, of the Friendly Road Broadcasting Station, conducted the entertainment, and the items by Mr. Richard McKenna «.r. his piano-accordion were greatly appreciated. Mesdames Cornwall and Fitzpatriek were the accompanists, and the iollovving artists assisted: Cornwall, McCarthy, Murray, Fitzpn trick, Misses D. Dunn, E. Cooney, Gloria Lelean, Messrs. Jack McCarthy, R. McKenna, A. Kingij (patient, ward .3), G. Cooper (blind piper), Master Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Uncle Jim.
. The weekly concert at the public hospital arranged by Mrs. RaebUrn and Mr. A. Hamblin was held in ward 22a on Wednesday evening. A good programme was presented, which consisted of si ngs, duets, fancy and tap dancinp etc. A happy hour was spent by the patients and a vote of thanks was passed to the artists. Those taking part t-ere: Misses Gladys Stormont, Kathleen Boyle. Hinei'oa Stewart. Aldwyth Dunn, Anita Copeland. Mina Foley. Mesdames V. Watson and F. Lambert, Messrs. S. Stephenson, R. Bae, and F. McKnight. The| accompanist was Madame Dunn.
