Mr. F. W. Doidge, of Auckland, left for Rotorua yesterday by car. ill-. 11. Turner was a passenger to Auckland by tliis morning's Limited express. Mr. E. C. Hands, manager of the Broadcasting Bbard, arrived in Auckland this morning by train from Wellington. Sir Colin Fraser, a director of several large Australian companies, is returning to Melbourne by the Monterey after a visit to the Dominion. Mr. Cecil Marks, general manager of United Artists (Australia), Ltd., left 011 his return to Australia by the Monterey after a short visit to New Zealand. The Kev. Dr. David Lang, of Pittsburgh, U.S.A., who is making a lecture tour of the Dominion, was a passenger for Wellington by last night's Limited express. Mr. Edward H. Zeigler, an executive of the NtMv York Central Railway, who is making a tour of the South Seas and Australia, is a through passenger to Melbourne. The Hon. Eliot Davis, M.L.C., has been appointed honorary consul in Auckland for Japan, according to an announcement in the "Gazette,"' states a Press Association message. Mr. C. E. Brown, • managing agent in Australia and New Zealand for the Matson Line, who lias been visiting the Dominion, returned to Australia to-day by the Monterey. Mr. Spencer R. Mason, president of the Auckland Aero Club, left by last night's Limited express for Wellington, where he will attend a conference of the New Zealand Aero Club. Mr. W. C. Barrj' has been appointe registrar under the Veterinary Surgeons Act, according to an announcement in the "Gazette." He has also been appointed registrar under the Stock Remedies Act. Mr. Bryon E. Mills, assistant manager of the Atlantic Union Oil Company of New Zealand, returned by the Monterey this morning after a holiday visit to the United States.
